Jelli
Project Scope
As the creative lead for FinTech start-up Jelli, I was single-handedly responsible (both in theory & practice) for branding & design of the company. Jelli is an “envelope-style” budgeting app that allows users to segment their money into JelliJARS (digital containers). The concept stemmed tossing loose change in a jar, which led to canning fruit for jelly, add the need for FinTech’s to be “sticky”… hence Jelli was born.
Building a start-up soup-to-nuts, app to social, I had to start somewhere. First stages were to develop the mobile app and design the corresponding JelliCARD. The 3 dots from the logo, used on the card, represent air bubbles in jelly, and play the role of the Nike “swoosh” of the brand.
Next was copywriting and design of the website, lifecycle email templates, card mailer, and various other pieces of marketing collateral.
Writing, producing and editing online video content, to establish the attitude of the brand.
And finally the need to build out a social presence across multiple platforms, to both market to potential users, and educate current cardholders of features and promotions.
This included a library of quick-guide animations to help navigate the app, and maximize the overall Jelli experience.
